How to Draw a Flamingo
To draw a flamingo, start with a tilted oval for the body and a small round head, then join them with a long wavy neck. The thin legs, one straight and one tucked up, come after the beak, and a wing, a few tail feathers and an eye finish the bird. Draw lightly, and trace the worksheet first if you want to warm up.

Questions and answers
- How do I make the flamingo's neck look curvy?
- Draw two wavy lines that start at the head and travel down to the body, keeping them about the same distance apart. Think of a soft letter S, and erase and redo it if it looks stiff.
- How do I draw a flamingo standing on one leg?
- Draw one long, straight leg with a small foot at the bottom. Give the second leg a bend in the middle, like a thin sideways V, so it looks tucked up while the straight leg holds the bird up.
