How to Draw a Mongoose
A mongoose starts with one long, flat oval for the body. Then you add a head with a pointed snout, a tiny round ear, short legs and a bushy tail. The stripes come last, and they are what turn the drawing into a banded mongoose.

Questions and answers
- How do I make the snout pointed?
- Draw the head as a rounded shape that gets narrower toward the front, then end it in a small point. Put a little nose dot right on the tip.
- How many stripes should I draw?
- Four or five short stripes across the back look right. Keep them a little apart and let them curve with the shape of the body.
